Agreed. I wasn't suggesting they were less - I just didn't experience them so the initial "Shock & awe" isn't there for me. The other aspect is that 9/11 kind of capped off our version of the "roaring 20's." Now, those weren't going to continue anyhow but 9/11 served as the exclamation point.

It's weird...I knew it was big (real big) but I'm not sure I grasped the scope of the potential chain reaction. Economic decisions made (by greenspan, bush etc etc) have reverberated forward and there's no end in sight. Some of what we're experiencing now is as a direct result of 9/11.

Delorean forward to 2101 - It would be an interesting opportunity to get a retrospective of the impact and outcome 100 years later

That FKR did it....he's dead but he'll be remembered for a VERY long time to come.

I heard a report that there were plans for a 10th anv attack using trains. I kinda have a different view....I think we ought to have a 10th anv bomb dropping
