Mark,

Talking about those hard drives, Barron's did a piece on them this weekend, saying Seagate's market share of server drives dropped from 80% to 50% market share. Seemingly losing the market share to Fijitsu, Quantum, IBM & Western Digital. And that the share prices of these stocks look really cheap. (I guess they won't be any more considering the amount of people who read Barron's). As quoted: "The washed-out stocks have started to attract bottom-fishers. And that there is wisdom in looking for companies which produce products in Asia, where costs are falling in local currencies, and which do significant business in Europe, where economic conditions are picking up steam". The author recommends Seagate & WDC.

3Coms was also mentioned for its low price, so there maybe some interest in that one too next week.

All this should be good for the techs. Once one begins to go up, the rest follow. Unless of course, someone is stirring the rumor pot again. Mark, do you own GTW stock? I liked the CPQ buying GTW rumor myself.
