Hi Addi: Well said and very true. As for Sony PlayStation my guess is that they have a part of the next generation chip (at least "a part"!). Didn't someone say that in Q3'97 conference call Corrigan indicated that they were involved with Sony and would play a role in the next generation chip? At least that's what I remember. But you have a point. Why doesn't the company just come out and say so? LSI seems to keep a lot of secrets it seems. And we wonder why the stock is so volatile!

As to ASND that's another one I'm carrying as well. Average price 42 - still holding. Never ever got around into looking into the company in detail. But don't have much invested so I can afford to just let it sit if need be. ASND mgt and LSI mgt are bedfellows don't you think? Peas in a pod. No indications from both mgts. No help from Investor Relations. No anything. Silence = Trouble in both cases (at least n/t). Maybe if they start yapping it'll be time to buy !!!!!

fun, fun, fun...
