This analysis is weak in several ways.
Economic growth claimed by the US government and the so called economists itself is questionable. Assuming there is little economic growth, lack of job growth within US is due to multinational corporations hiring more workers outside US (even after taking TARF and other US tax break) and hence no job growth here. Of course there is a secondary effect due to technology and automation resulting in increased productivity per worker all around the world.
