It could also have something to do with the 500 Nov30 Put options that traded on Friday. At the end of October 500 Nov30 puts were bought, and the price plummeted ~2/share. Seemed that the specialist was hedging. It may have just been the specialist taking his hedge off that caused the price to bump up. It may have something to do with the fact that Avant! is the stock from hell. Regardless, I'll be looking for an opportunity to enter a short position Monday. Barb!
