Insurers "Cannot and will not" pay over Y2K.

Quote: "The association of British Insurers (ABI) has warned that it cannot and will not "meet the consequences" of companies failing to modify their systems in time for the Millennium date change in computers, according to Taskforce 2000.

The news brought stark warnings from experts that more and more problems were appearing to make fixing the year 2000 problem difficult for businesses.
