They have access to a lot of labs and resources that IPM would not have on their own. They approached IPM , not vice versa, I expect they thought they could help with the extraction problems. This is a developing technology, something heretofore unknown in the mining industry. Maybe they'll have it all together soon and maybe not. It's been a volatile stock and probably will be for the forseeable future.
