Dear ghunk: Since the last three lines in your post was directed at me, I will respond.. You were merely unfortunate enough to be the last poster on the thread, before I posted. It wasn't until I went back and read the posts that I realized you were just a little perturbed by my charge of "intellectual posturing"..and thought it referred to you. Actually, I was not directing it at anyone in particular, but it is true, everyone here seems to delight in trying to outdo the other with uttering strings of pontificating, intellectual language. Sometimes the very act of doing this, stifles meanful dialogue and scares people away, because they feel unable to engage on the same level of abstract thought and doesn't want to be seen as unintelligent.. This was the only point I was trying to make.... I don't think you have a "ghunk problem" and you hardly sound like "just a driller's helper" It you are, you must spend a good part of the time on your mountain studying and reading literature...You write very beautifully... I agree, reality, hardly ever measures up to the expectations we have of others, or ourselves, but maybe that is because our expections are too high for mere humans to attain. My dear G-hunk, What on earth brought that on? There was a message to me today from someone I don't know, who I believe posted on Ask God weeks ago about this thread, and I am more than a little perplexed that people tend to know what I'm saying anywhere, but this unfortunately IS the INTERNET!!!!! This very well meaning person, who has not made you happy, obviously had seen our little sillinesses here, and posted to me. Whatever he did, that's him. What am I -- some sort of cosmic cop and I'm supposed to go around busting people? I don't think so. I don't remember being appointed cosmic or Christian cop. For a second there I wondered if you would be happy with a post using your name, but I was in a very, very good mood, probably, dear G-hunk, because of your use of 13th century tactics, whether you know it or not, and probably you do. Parcevalian is the word that comes to me, actually. If that is the spelling. Otherwise, I'll find the right spelling and you can check it out. Also, I had come on to post to the Ask God crowd that it appeared our world may soon disappear as we know it. My post to him, as he has used your name, was more a post to you anyway. So work that one out. And as for where I am and where I stand, I'm about as secretive as clean glass. If we are to do battle with each other, I certainly hope it for the primary reason that you have specifically said something to me that I did not like, or visa versa. That most certainly has not in any way shape or form happened so far, and you must not blame me for the well-meaninged intentions of a person I don't know. I would actually respond in Latin, but I don't know any. And as for flaming Carol in any way, her post to you was .....well, very loving. Can't we all just get a bong! (CA bumper sticker that cracks me up) Certainly this should be private e-mail, and I think that if MJB, or whatever his name is, and you could discuss this matter, you would see nothing but spiritual goodness in his intentions. Do you realize I can't even understand you without a dictionary? That's another first, I'll tell you that. If you are still angry can we please pursue this bizarre abberation (sp) by e.mail? Addendum: I just re-read the offensive post in question.....huh? G-hunk, will you please read it? Did you read it? The guy was just saying that he had read my answer to you that I had no answer from God and he was suggesting an answer. Personally, that hardly falls in the insult category. Again I ask, did you even read his post? Or my post? Or are there messengers of evil I know not. (kidding) (smile) (big smile)

Well I guess maybe I should post if only to clarify and clear the air. I've been reading this thread since Tomato started it and truly enjoy the dialogue, but I am oft intimidated by the ability of others to speak a native tongue I thought was my own, but I'll be damned if I can understand the majority of the thoughts being expressed most of the time. I'm sorry Ghunk if I offended you by going elsewhere to ask or offer an explaination to the question which many have asked: how does one recieve an answer from God, provided of course one believes in the first place. I've also read the Ask God thread in the past and believed that if anyone could answer the question it would be someone from that particular thread. It was with that frame of mind that I did what I did. If there is some sort of retribution to be had by me, then let it be. I will wear the dress of humility grudgingly, but rightfully if you in fact feel it necessary for me to do so. With Best Intentions Mike
