No not the same thing.

Libertarian is broad, but in general terms it means support for individual liberty and reduced or minimal government, not "no government".

The edge between extreme libertarians and mild anarchists could in some cases be blurry, but as a whole the concepts are very distinct. More mild libertarians are not even vaguely anarchist. Some of them are conservative (I'd include myself, even if I'm less conservative and more libertarian than I used to be), but that's overlap of two categories not the two categories being the same thing. Others are liberal in some ways (in the modern American political sense, in the older sense of the term liberal essentially all libertarians are liberal, and most liberals where at least vaguely libertarian)

But it's kinda hard NOT to support the guy that essentially called this whole economic mess we're in 20 years ago, and had the GUTS to hang in there and pound it into the ignorant idiots on capital hill... and it's official, he's running:

"I will just voice my opinion about those who wish to strip healthcare from the lessor fortunate (in order to lower their own tax bill). Disgusting".

What about those who don't care but just wish to opt out and finance their own existence free of you.
