keep in mind that i buy options to LIMIT RISK. they are extremely volatile. i've quadrupled my money in a day and gave 90% back in 15 minutes! crazy. however, you can limit the risk of loss to your speculation. if you spec with 5% of your spec money (as opposed to investment money) in at least 3-4 companies and let it ride, you can play long term valuation disconnect themes. as a stock goes up (overvalued) or a stock goes down (undervalued) you can reload b/c you have 95% of your powder dry...
