It's nice to see a happy tax payer, who gets a kick out of sending in their big pile of money. It must be nice to not even think about minimizing your taxes coz it's all in a good cause: <we would likely disagree on what we are willing to fund... I do have a few lefty bents. >

Do you kick in extra just to make things even better?

How much tax do you actually pay each year [to the nearest $10,000 coz it's hard to keep track of the hordes of little taxes lurking everywhere]?

Once upon a time, I didn't mind taxes as the government built airports, schools, railways, hospitals roads, and mostly good things. Now most of the money is down the drain. I also learned that those "good things" were actually very low quality with very poor service built at great expense.
