I know, and it's sad.

Women's primary beauty is between their ears.

I'm as appreciative of the female form as any warm-blooded man, but I am really getting sick of Madison Avenue's concept of the ideal. You can't look at a commercial anymore that doesn't pan up from the model's butt or her breasts to her flawless face.

That ideal is being used to sell everything from chain saws to reloading equipment. I like women, chain saws, and reloading equipment, but I don't choose any of them based on my hormonal response to 'ideal' images. When it comes to women, I made my choice almost 43 years ago and that's that.

One gun manufacturer uses an ultra thin model. I can sort of see their point, as "Thin is good" when it comes to a carry weapon, but that ain't my ideal for women.

Commercials for bras, hair color, jeans and such are way over the top.
