We bought a kitchen sink faucet with a sprayer. Hardly anything came out of the sprayer. I called up the manufacturer and the woman there told me that that was normal and to not unscrew the head and take out the red plastic restricter because it was there to comply with Federal Regulations.

I did not not do that and now it works beautifully.

The showerhead police will soon be knocking at your door.

I put in a new low flow showerhead but I drilled out the restrictor a bit so the flow is back to normal.

"I put in a new low flow showerhead but I drilled out the restrictor a bit so the flow is back to normal."

The government has an easy solution to that:

Restrict sale of drills and bits, like they do ammonium nitrate to keep us dangerous home gardeners from blowing ourselves up trying to feed our plants.
