Since you are the book value guru, what do you value AMD's assets at. Especially, the property, plant and equipment part.

Is it worth $2billion? or maybe 700 million (still excessive) like the DEC plant.

Ooops, I forgot. Its a "megafab" so it must be worth more.

John - With AMD's fab production yield problems that keep hanging on and their relationship with IBM, what is the possibility of AMD contracting with IBM to manufacture the K6? I thought I recalled that the AMD K6 process actually came from IBM in some sort of licensing arrangement.
Couldn't this be an avenue to get back on track in the fastest mode? Since Cyrix will be soon owned by NSM, IBM may have a need to fill their foundry with additional wafers - why not from AMD?
