>> Ah yes, that unfunded $3 Trillion Iraq War

Ah, yes, you idiot. We KNOW the cost of the Iraq War and it was nowhere NEAR $3 Trillion. And every nickel of it was "funded" by the Democrats in Congress.

>> an unfunded Drug Bill to benefit big Pharma

Yes, that which was the most fiscally sensible health care bill ever to be passed, which has come in massively UNDER BUDGET every year, and which the Democrats opposed solely because it required the recipients to pay a portion of the cost themselves. And that the Democrats recently revised in such a way that the FULL BILL is covered by the taxpayers, and such that costs will spiral out of control since recipients have no skin the game.

>> a tax cut to benefit the top 2% so the budget surplus could be blown.

You mean the "projected" budget surplus which never developed due to the Clinton Recession followed by 9/11?

>> plus a housing bust

You mean the housing bust created by Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Bill Clinton '96 revisions to the CRA? THAT housing bust?

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON ON THE END OF THE ANTI-WAR MOVEMENT

"Our popularity abroad (is) no different than when George Bush was President. What has changed is where as in 2006, a sizable and influential minority of Americans made the argument to the world that George Bush had ruined America's appeal abroad, now their attitude is 'it doesn't matter, Obama's our guy and if you don't like him it's your fault and not ours."
