We have a corporately captured country, and, although their current party of choice is the (R)'s, too many (D)'s are captured as well. Before we gave them the status of people, we should have considered that corporations have no "conscience" division, and feel no guilt. They exist only to make profit. The humans that serve them come to that as well, struggling to rise. Too many will ignore their humanity to pursue the corporate goals. This is a disease of the free enterprise capitalist system, It's very successful, and is spreading around the globe.
