The GPS world article also states that the network will provide dual redundannt DGPS coverage of the contiguous 48 states. Other articles: Russia has indicated launch of new Glonasss satellites in 1998 to a full 24 constellation from the current 14 or 15. FAA shows off WAAS to Mexico. Sokkia has developed a dual frequency receiver. Sounds like a Triple whammy for Ashtech. Trimble's 4800, Topcon goes to Trimble and Sokkia develops their own receiver. Lends credence to the report that they might be looking to sell out.
