Matt, there were no financials at that time but they are done now. Actually financial statements prior to a steady income stream are only a value in showing when the burn rate (cash expenditures)will exhaust cash and require some form of cash infusion (issuance of stock, loan, etc.). Institutional support will arrive shortly after there is a steady income stream and the stock has moved a bit higher.
