Eugene, I've learned that all people sometimes and some people
all the time misread what others post. And so you get attacked
for something you didn't say, or get praised for something else
you didn't know you said. <G>
But it's OK. This thread stuff is a great learning experience
for me in more ways than one.

The analyst was probably just lazy and lumped several stocks
together in one statement. We can't ignore the analysts either.<g>
While we're on the subject of accuracy: I have recently found
obviously wrong data in two services I subscribe to. I wonder
how much erroneous data I've accepted WITHOUT noticing.
BTW, I just posted a chart with AMAT price gains expressed
as percentages for the years 1993 to present. I made the chart
from raw price data. 1994 and 1996 were not so hot. (so now
we can have a rule that AMAT underperforms in EVEN-numbered
years. - Just kidding). The home page is at...
