The LEAP I was refering to was the '98 Strike $50, THQAJ. The ask is 7/16, Bid 1/4. See below:

Lee, on the 300mm wafer size; I remember when we went from 4" to 6" wafers. At first our yields really declined.
I don't think there is enough volume right now for most fabs to want to make the transition to 300mm at the moment but it will happen eventually. At National they just transformed their heavy hitters at first. For low volume lines it is just not practical.

thanks Lee for another view of rational investing... many strategies may be emloyed at different times, but when someone believes that they have discovered something that is Too Good To Be True, it usually is... and bye the way, what happened over the past two or three or five years in a stock CERTAINLY may not happen again as exogenous events are likely to intervene to change the landscape...other competitors, combinations, world events, financial events, change in technology, etc and then the game changes again... so stick with whats comfortable for you but keep an open mind regarding new opportunities... I MAY buy leaps if we see near 20 again, but wouldn't put all my eggs here... like the value in the underlying stock too and others.... good luck

I don't know if someone has already corrected you on this, but it's the Jan, '98 50 calls that are selling so cheap (they're 1/4 X 7/16 now.) The Jan '99's are 3 3/4 X 4.

I believe the '99's are a good buy.
