FWIW. Here are the May 5th UK government figures for Scotland.

They say there is nothing to worry about.

Mind you, they said the same thing about Chernobyl too.

If you suspect there are nuclear gases and particles above you, stay out of the rain. Rain droplets clean the crap out of the air very effectively. The rainwater becomes contaminated, and then the food chain, but it's prudent to be one step more removed from the radiation imho.
