One of the larger segments of the building thats been going on in the last 6yrs in many or almost all states and nobody's comlaining until the billion dollar bill for housing all these inmates starts adding up. So though i choose not to judge , there's certainly alot of judging going on somewhere & just makes one wonder if some of the get tough on crime laws that include lessor violent crimes which comprise the majority of sentencings ..may be just a little out of date ?? They're finding mass graves in Mexico with 100's of bodies now just recently ...the price of drugs has plummeted to all time lows & are more easily available to kids than ever before . Maybe the answer is to escalate "the war" , maybe build a wall , bring home the troops from Afghanistan already battle tested & man the borders ? Spend more Billions ... If that's winning a war just may have to make a leap of faith & choose to judge -->were winning absolutely nothing . But it was great platform to get elected on , back in the 1980's . Streets are no safer , drugs cheaper & easier to get, and the prisons overflowing . You be the judge . ( and the DEA & UN cannot tell the difference between Methamphetamine/Heroin & harmless Marijuana , all clssified in the same schedule II category of dangerous narcotics , now that is a joke . ) Think the markets today are weak ? Now what is holding up well ---->Tobacco , one of the most harmful addictive substances known to man ...kills more than anything else . Lovely , why we traders are cynics:
