Eye Catcher, had some time this weekend and found a sight with a download that is apparently an upgrade to the old version of Exchange changing it to Windows Messaging. After several hours of playing with Messaging I got the thing to actually send and receive e-mail from my provider, (not Microsoft). This inspired me to reinstall Eye Catcher and the Quick Cam thingy. After another hour or so of fiddling I actually got Eye Catcher to e-mail me when the alarm was triggered. I still have to make some adjustments with my modem like getting it to log off after the message is sent etc. but these are just a matter of going into Control panel--system--device manager--modem--properties--connection--etc.etc. There are several other adjustments that will fine tune Eye Catcher to work better with my machine but the thing works. The problems that I have had are not so much the program Eye Catcher but making it work with nit picky Win 95.

The more I play with Eye Catcher the more I like this program and can see its potential. For me this program has been a pain to get working but persistence seems to have paid off, thanks to no one. I have found it will not send readable pics or avi unless the camera settings etc are set right but after proper fiddling one can get good results. Eye Catcher is now a keeper for me as I have tasted what the program is capable of doing.
