>>My jugular is still intact

Mine is barely so:)

Anyway, strange as it may seem, I am really quite unfazed about all this. There was only one thing that blew my mind--and I must admit left me a shade less than unfazed and that was the statement made on more than one occasion that Bart was asked to investigate me. I must confess that even I was a little thrown by this--less because of a fear of being investigated as much as wondering what I could possibly have done to warrant being investigated. I have previous made reference to the cult-like atmosphere on this thread--to me the call to have me investigated smacked of this. Even more incredible was the fact that this call to have me investigated was made well before this weekend's fracas.

It also bothered me that Bart would have assented to such a call -- this is a person whom I have sought to help in my own feeble way.

I did think of you this morning as I attempted to explain the discrepancy in terms of the 500 vs 250 per point business on the futures--I could see you doing an "I told you so" regarding my lack of precision and attention to detail. But then I thought of Kevin, who would so often mix up his puts and calls and shorts and longs when he posted and imagined the amount of explaining that he might have had to do--and that made me feel better:)

>>Finally there is no need to be strident when there are differences of opinions<<

I reflected on that last night when I read your post and decided that you might be right--then this morning as I read what was being said about me, I decided that even my most strident posts sounded like the model of decorum and moderation in comparison:)
