Jacob, I will make a big revelation to you and many others.
Memory prices historically always go down and will in the future. ( price per bit)
IMO all the fuss about faling DRAM prices is just waste of time.

It is almost like saying that the economy goes to hell because years back you could buy coffe for a nickl.
