Position: ASIC Engineer

Duties:
Join our team of ASIC engineers who developed the Eagle(TM) media compositor
in developing leading edge graphics, video and audio media compositor
engines and highly integrated chips incorporating these designs for use
in consumer products. Emphasis on system validation, test benches, and
tools for design, validation and testability support. Use ASIC design
and verification tools such as Verilog, Synopsys, C-link test benches,
IKOS, static timing analyzers, and ATPG. Work with multiple high-profile,
high-volume ASIC and foundry companies and PowerTV Inc.'s OEM customers.
Be a leader in the exciting, young and quickly evolving industry of
networked digital interactive media.

Reports to:
Director of ASIC Technology

Qualifications:
Requires BSEE or approved equivalent, with at least 3 years experience
in using modern ASIC tools including Verilog and Synopsys, and C/C++.
Must be a dedicated team player.
Preferred candidates have a recent history of developing system validation
test benches using C and Verilog, modeling ASIC interfaces and interfaces
to external components. Prefer also experience in using Sunrise ATPG and
Quad Motive. Extra credit for knowledge of graphics, video, audio, and DSP
technologies, and working with RISC processors and high speed memory.
Broad technical ability and individual initiative and responsibility are
well rewarded at this young, growing, very visible and important company.
Excellent written and oral communication and comfort with outside
companies are also pluses.
