The Nissan product has a broader market than the Volt does, and of course, is a true electric. For those with that specific set of needs, it is apparently a really good solution.

But the reality is that OTR trucks are never going to be electrics. Isn't going to happen.

One OTR truck == 1,600 cars.

It is pretty easy to see that CNG is a solution while hybrid electrics aren't going to contribute in a huge way to a solution.

Had 10% of the trillion dollar stimulus been applied to this problem we could be well on our way to energy independence and keeping 1/2 trillion a year from going overseas.

What did we get for that trillion? NOTHING. NOT ONE THING.
