Thanks to all Brazilians out there! philstar.com US fugitive arrested in Boracay By Jun Pasaylo Home Updated May 20, 2011 01:16 PM 0 comment to this post AKLAN, Philippines – Operatives of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) has started the deportation process of an American fugitive who was arrested in a Boracay resort. In a statement released today, BI acting Intelligence Chief Maria Antonette Mangrobang identified the suspect as William Preston Strong, 54. Strong is wanted for defrauding investors in Brazil for millions of dollars in a stock investment scam. He is presently detained at BI jail facility in Taguig City. The American was arrested by elements of the BI Interpol unit in a Boracay resort in Malay town here. He is subject of a red notice by the Interpol in Brazil where a warrant of arrest was issued against him by the Segundo Federal Tribunal in Sao Paolo on charges of conspiracy, fraud and setting up a securities fraud syndicate. The case stemmed from the complaints of several Brazilians who alleged lost the money they invested in securities trading after seeing an advertisement in a website put up by Strong. The complainants said they were enticed to invest their money as the advertisement convinced them that the suspects were legitimate stock brokers. “The fraud was perpetrated by publishing shares offers at attractive prices in the Internet, hence the victims were led to believe that they were dealing with duly accredited stock brokers,” Mangrobang said. A check of the bureau’s travel records showed that Strong arrived in the Philippines on Nov. 28 last year as a visiting tourist.

ATTENTION: William Preston Strong on the way to the USA!! He will arrive May 31, 2011 8:22 in Honolulu. Gangster William is right now on board of Philippines Airlines Flight to Honolulu, USA. The Brazilians just let him run, after my country was able to find, catch and hold this fugitive. The Brazilians did not active work on his extradition so the Philippines could not hold him any longer. WAY TO GO BRAZIL!!! So now its up to you US guys to take care of your own breed! Thanks a lot.
