Bill Siedman also mentioned Fri. that he sees the Japan banking crisis deeping a bit from here. He sounded rather less optimistic than usual.

Net inflows were neg into equities? I find that hard to believe. If you really get neg inflows the bears will have the mother of all parties. If I recall, there was 20 bil or so inflows in Oct (all security types) only slightly down from Sept. But hey, who am I to argue with CNBC?

CNBC mentioned this morning that the mutual fund inflows have turned into outflows. Most mutual fund
purchases now are into bond and money market funds.
