Michael, << FPGA'S >>

Not a field I'm familiar with. Having been a non-degreed engineer
I became somewhat specialized in my technical expertise, which was
really weak to my peers. My later focus was on mixed signal products.
Time was spent in design layout, compiling verification and design
rule checker programs, then to product engineering and test program
refinement of 1st release test programs, then on to wafer fab support
from a design perspective rather than a process support position. It
helped maintain cohesiveness between the 2 factions that have totally
different mindsets for improving yields. The interaction between the
2 groups lead to solid resolutions to production problems. Sometimes
politics got in the way, but to be expected.
If your a TI'er, I could put you on to people able to answer your
FPGA questions, but not over the threads. They came from low power
schottky, another group I earlier worked in with very good talent.
