I agree with being able to catch sight of a small corner of the sun once in awhile now. Enough anyway that I am no longer entirely in cash.;-)......In addition, historically, the last couple of weeks in November have generally been more favourable to the long side.

But as one of my most respected friends is fond of saying, "who knows?"

Getting back on topic:

I have found the 89 period MA to be the most effective intermediate measure for stocks. While all forms of MAs can be used, the time series version is very effective.

an MACD(13,34,89) in OSC form using 0 trigger line is a good trend indicator.

CCI(13) or CCI(40) can be used for overbought/oversold indicators.
