Word is beginning to trickle out that last season was no fluke for Bautista. Everything has come together for him in every aspect of his game. What's more for Jay's fans, is the trickle over effect whereby team mates are beginning to elevate their play as well. Who knows, perhaps "the Bautista effect" is powerful enough to propel the Jays into post season play this year. Bautista may well become the "poster boy" for the post steroid era of baseball given his talent and, equally important, his calm and professional demeanour around his team mates and his fans. Love watching this guy contribute, both on and off the field!
