It's a district where a (D) hasn't won since the Civil War! THAT's how unpopular the Ryan plan is!

I will be surprised if the D pulls it off. Then again,Buffalo has been so buffeted by all the bad things going on this country anything is possible.

That's the result of a three man race, with the third candidate (accurately or not I'm not sure) claiming to be a candidate for the tea party (despite lack of formal endorsement by any tea party group I can think of). If the Democrat does win (and I'm guessing that won't happen) it will be with a minority vote (a plurality, but the two candidates claiming to oppose big government will collective have a majority over the bigger government candidate even if neither of them wins), hardly an outpouring of support for the Dems in opposition to Paul Ryan's plan.
