All growth stocks tend to show a similar chart as long as they remain growth stocks.

Do you believe that book value was held constant at $13/share throughout the period charted? ... and that investors took it from $2 to $50 just because they liked bigger numbers? For FY92 through FY96, $0.67, $0.63, $2.22, $0.58 and $1.46E were added to book value respectively.

The ratios published by GM as well as myself indicate that KLIC (or for that matter most other Semi Equipment stocks) generally trade above book value. Any time they've traded near or below book has turned out to be an outstanding opportunity. i.e - Free money is being given out by Wall Street.

Just because this has always happened doesn't mean that it will ever happen again.
