You also have to consider oil demand destruction for heating. We're still building out the US natural gas infrastructure with new pipelines and storage facilities, especially in the northeast. Here's an example from Connecticut where customers can finally switch from fuel oil to natural gas for home heating. Other parts of the country did this 50 years ago, but there's still an ongoing drip drip of conversion in the remaining areas...
