I'm seeing adds for K6 systems from IBM , Acer and CTX all over the place. From 166s to 233s. It's pretty obvious that these vendors are getting the bulk of the chips and what's left over for the retail channel isn't enough to meet demand so the prices remain high.
Too bad AMD isn't making any money on these chips.
