LOL!!! They sure do use their front paws well, don't they?

When I was a kid, I read Sterling North's "Rascal," about a turn of the century kid who adopted a baby raccoon that got to be a big raccoon. They are smart animals.

I used to live in a first floor condo next to a wooded canyon in Austin. I had a nice metal pan on the balcony filled with cat food. I came home from work one day just in time to see a raccoon jumping off the balcony holding the pan in his hands and keeping it level, no spillage. He walked on his hind legs straight to the canyon holding the food and vanished!
