Inode, let's say you have one of these plug-in hybrids, and you miss a few nights of charging. No big deal, as long as you have gas in the tank.

No one should be so naive as to think that they could ever leave the tank at or near empty just because it's a partial electric car.

In the far future, I can see the vast majority of cars being hybrid, especially as oil and other fossil fuels become more scarce. Until someone invents Mr. Fusion (from the Back to the Future movie series), of course.
