'Americans have snookered by the GOP........hook, line and sinker.' Yeah and funny thing is they need your vote, my vote, Chris P's vote ect... to even have a fighting chance in the future given the demographics. I know way too may in my family up north voting GOP for reasons of too high taxes, expanding welfare state since LBJ and of course the ghettos. Yet they and their families have become all very well off the past 40-50 years in those big blue metro areas due to income growth and exploding property values. When i tell them they never would have had such success even in the non union always overbuilt, non regulated boom markets of the south I get the blank stare. Of course the next cycle will be different..The smart ones will do well no matter what and the rural areas without in migration will lag even further in the south That's the thing. The South is so proud that they are anti union and yet, what do they have to show for it? They have been poaching industry from other parts of the country for decades and yet, they are still mostly dead last in terms of per capita income and educational levels. When do the smucks wake up to the fact they have been snookered by their leaders? The level of ignorance is not to be believed.
