Could you please elaborate on what story the VIX tells. I gather it gives you either an idea of whether the market is going up or down or whether it is likely to be too volatile to go with you regular indicators. Which if either of these, and why? Thanks.

Bill...Glad to see ya back...I don't remember 2 weeks back..will have to date back..What is VIX? Thanks...

My indicator has a trend change on Nov. 18 for the Dec. S&P also for the U.S. Dollar.. I know I would of like to see a low come in on the 17th-18th.. i would need a pretty good down move on Monday and Tuesday for the indicator to work.. Will just have to wait and see.
