Trade it, buy 2 lots if you like the company and trade one of them.
It has been great to me. Anywhere around here is a good entry point.
I am not a ta guy but with patience, you can make 50 % on your money
with this one with a few trades a year. I have two lots , one I trade
and the other I hold for when and if it succeeds.

The streets reaction to the diabetes deal was positive but it occured before the deal was announced. Many people knew that the deal was comming and bought in anticipation of the deal. When the deal was finally announced there was no big event in the near future to look forward to and therefore no immediate need to buy Ligand at the already very elevated levels.

BTW I was among them. I had already figured out that it is not a good idea to buy Ligand during a rally because this stock provides more than enough opportunities to buy on dips. But I bought nonetheless in anticipation of the diabetes deal because I mistakenly thought that the next dip might not go down far enough.
