kahn has a genuine weakness and true boldness, but at least he says what he thinks, which we cannot attribute to obama, and kahn was likely set up judo style, leveraged and pivoted, then frog marched whatever else happens, he will not have run of french leadership election this round my wager is that he has a genuine shot the next time with french electorates as and when he regains his political footing (he did not lose footing in any case), pity the american politicians who visit france and are not to his liking
