David,

>>looking back a couple of days now, I am more confident that it was indeed the climax bottom we needed<<

I totally agree, looking back, the sell off may have been what was needed to start an uptrend.

Part of what i was trying to convey was, Last Monday Osicom opened down, with very little support until around 2.5, something caused this, do you have any ideas?

David;
I hope that 2 1/16 was the low but I once posted that FIBR
would never hit 2....... I was almost wrong. Never say never. And
the earnings announcement is still coming, and we know that isn't
going to be great. Hopefully, all those who are going to sell on
bad news have done so, but my guess is that there are still those
who are borderline-scared and the straight-in-the-face earnings
release may be the last straw. I probably should have bought in
the recent low 2's but couldn't bring myself to do so...... I had
doubts and still do; I'm human. Still holding; at least, I haven't
sold. I do have to say that all the optimism on this thread does help
me to stabilize, but at times seems too optimistic. The truth often
seems ellusive and news and numbers do not always indicate
what we think they do. I guess it comes down to giving Par and
FIBR employees a chance to make it happen. But I seriously do
believe Par needs to get some support from a well known and
respected Company: either an alliance or otherwise.
Our local university (about 15,000 students) is converting to
an all fibre network, and I happened to be working in their offices
and so I asked what they thought of Osicom products. They had
never heard of them ( out of about 3 personnel.) My point is
Osicom needs market recognition, and an alliance with the right
company would do wonders. Osicom is small, recent, and has
had some bad press lately (Barron's.). This may scare some
potential buyers. Osicom products sound very good indeed, but
we need to get this info out into the market place as a whole. The
Atlanta show sounded great, and I hope that exposure helps.
I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. I'm in this thing with
everyone else. And keep up the great work and posts..... your
opinions and info are greatly appreciated, I assure you.
Good luck to all.
Michael

David, another post for you.

Earlier this year, I posted several replies which contained remarks about Osicom Technologies,Inc. which I knew to be untrue. Those remarks include the following:

I said, 'Find the link to the WSJ article about Mafia connections to Wall Street about 6 months ago,' I now acknowledge that the Wall Street Journal article did not suggest any connections between the Mafia and Osicom Technologies, Inc.

I said in reference to Asia Broadcast and Communications Network(ABCN), 'shades of Robert Vesco.....this S-3 indicates that this company is in pretty close with FIBR.....Seems they are robbing FIBR.' I now acknowledge that I had no knowledge of impropriety of any kind regarding ABCN, and I acknowledge that I had no knowledge of the relationship--'close' or otherwise--between ABCN and Osicom Technologies,Inc.

I said 'Did you see the television story on market manipulation on 20/20?,' implying that Osicom had been mentioned, either directly on indirectly in such a television program.

I referred to Osicom 'coming up with some sort of bogus breakthrough, that is definitely misleading if not totally inaccurate.' I acknowledge that I had no basis up which to judge the new products offered by Osicom.

I said that Osicom had 'laid low for about 6 months, then BLAM. I suspected this would happen, and they would be associated with a shell company offshore.' I acknowledge that I had no knowledge that Osicom had 'laid low' at any time, or that they were then or now associated with any 'shell company offshore.'

I described myself as a 'market historian'. I acknowledge that I am not a professional market historian, nor do I have any professional training in the finance analysis of public companies.

I acknowledge that all of the foregoing statements were false at the time I made them, and continue to be false to the best of my knowledge. I apologize to all of you who were mislead by my false remarks, as well as to Osicom Technologies, Inc.,and its shareholders for any damage to the Company's reputation which my false remarks may have caused.

Time to lay this one to bed.

Hiram

David,
Just a note of clarification. I recall your post that 2 1/16 was in your opinion a climax bottom on 11/12. However, on 11/13 we in fact hit 2 1/16 again. Is is good that it "climax sold" twice to 2 1/16. Or is it a harbinger of a level that we could return to.
what are your thoughts.
John
