interesting parallels, however, I still think that the next couple of months will be tumultuous for the markets, including the us markets, particularly nearing Jan earnings releases... if the #'s DO get trimmed... could see 6500 dow before it moves up into a strong rally again... just my view...

A lot of truth in what you say, except America is still the most leveraged country in the world. We also have the most over-spending/undersaving live for today people on earth. While the Japanese and Asian in general are low debt and high savers.. America is living high right now. But as you imply what goes around vcomes around... I hope we don't get but in the butt again.
