Here's a small piece of pleasant news from the world of banking.

After I made this post...

Message 27046420

...I transferred all my accounts to my credit union.

Two weeks ago they switched all their on-line banking to a new system. I was on the phone with them a few times to set up bill payment, consolidating accounts, etc. Yesterday in the mail I got two hand-written cards from two of the reps I spoke with thanking me for bearing with them through the transition. !!!

No sneaky hidden fees (thus far), pleasant staff and the satisfaction that none of the big banksters have their mitts on my cash...what's not to like?

Make the change to a local bank or credit union, people!
