"wrong"

Show me the numbers.

According to the wikipedia, we burned about 6.7x10^9 tons of coal in 2006. That works out to be about 6.1x10^12 kg of coal. And that released about 2.2x10^13 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. Given that there are 3.2x10^15 kg of CO2 in the atmosphere, that means we contribute almost 1% of the total volume in a single year from coal alone.
