No, it was a Discount Tire, Inc. It was the first one we came to going North on I-45. I'm almost sure we went a mile or a little more before we saw it, riding on the rim. There was a lot of traffic, as usual for a Saturday, with people going to weekend homes and Dallas.

I was wishing we had taken my Liberty Sport instead. Has good tires and better gas mileage than his Mercedes, both cars are '07 models. Told me he was going to trade his in for a later model sometime this month. I asked him what kind and he teasingly said a Liberty Sport. I love my car. I can see over all the cars on the road and never have to stop for gas when I travel in it, that is if I leave town with a full tank.

I don't remember seeing a Les Schwab Tire store here, but sure there must be one as they are a national tire chain. But I have heard of them before. We also have a lot of National Tire companies here in Texas. We had the choice of water or coffee, but sadly no popcorn nor tires rotated for free. My hubby had two new tires put on the front about three weeks ago when his low tire light came on when he was coming in from out of town. They informed him he needed two new front tires. Evidently they did not replace a spare and also took all his tire tools out and did not put them back. He was very upset about that when they opened the trunk and nothing there to change a tire. He trusted them and did not check on either after the work was done. They also charged him an arm and a leg for those two tires too. I told him that is what he got for letting a filing station do the work instead of calling Triple A to come pick it up and take to a reputable tire company. This filing station is about a half block from his office. I do believe he learned a lesson from it also to always check behind people who work on his car even if it is a Mercedes dealership. I could have put four new tires on my Jeep or my old Mercedes and had money left over for what they charged him for two. And he didn't even quibble with them over the price they charged.
