Mike, Margo is quoted in post 188 saying average cost to produce is $200 an ounce. Since Olinghouse is much larger than current production, it would seem that costs should be at least average or lower. exchange2000.com

" I called the company today and spoke with Margo. She said that the Griffon property will start construction the first week of August and they expect to have the permit for Olinghouse in August as well. Copper flat is still held up but she has hopes for it by the end of the year. She said there are other possibilities for that property as well. She confirmed that they are forward sold for up to 18 months at $335 and their cost to produce is about $200 per Oz. so they are in good shape for the long term. "

VectorVest rates ALTA a buy. The significance is that it is only one
of two stocks they rate as a buy out of 56 gold stocks they cover.
