Personally, I have little interest in regular muni bond funds and have only taken positions in actual bonds or in closed end funds like DSM and NMO... part of my diversification... yields are decent and seem safe... muni bonds have only recently recovered (and not a lot) from the beating they took several months ago and that was another reason I began nibbling in the sector: everyone hated them so much it seemed like a low-risk way to capture and reinvest some divvies.

Good luck,
Jim
