Snapdragon unit sales can be estimated (roughly) by examining trade journal reports, plus reports from the companies producing equipment that contains the Snapdragon chip.

Of course they can. Could you actually do that so people might take your comment seriously?

Qualcomm has a lot of processors and radio chips that seem to be very competitive in price and performance, while drawing less current than others, but the number of devices containing these neat chips is still rather low in percentage terms.

Really?? here are 40 devices based on the MSM7227 alone..
